The annual fundraiser aimed to combat lung disease and cancer involves the public and first responders completing 677 steps up 34 floors, many first responders competing in full protective equipment.

Berlin Fire Department's Firefighter Michael Adamczuk, his son Philip, and Kensington Fire Department cadets Cassidy Kemp and Peyton Miller participated as part of the Task Force 51 group this year the results are outstanding!

Task Force 51 placed 2nd overall for fundraising raising $6,062 in total. Newington's Miranda Gallagher placing 8th with $1,326 raised and Rocky Hill's Doug Clark placing 9th raising $1,269.

Additionally, two of TF51's group members completed the climb in the overall top 10.
Phillip Adamczuk placed 3rd with a time of 4:22.8 minutes. He placed 2nd in the male open bracket and 1st in the male 17 and under bracket.
Task force 51's Cameron Clarke placed 9th with a time of 4:55.5 minutes.
