| On Saturday the 27th of May the Berlin Fire department and the Connecticut Street Legends held its 4th Autorama at Sage Park. Unlike the previous events, mother nature finally shined down on us and allowed this event to be the biggest and best yet. Past events held in the middle of August were although sunny, they were also very hot with temps in the upper 90s, this year started out a little cloudy but the sun shined through shortly after the opening and the temps stayed in the mid 70s. Great car show weather!!!
With great weather, participation was overwhelming: 200+ show cars, Race cars, Farm Tractors, army trucks, the latest fire apparatus all where on display. Like in the past we put together a Touch-a-Truck for the kids to get up and play with big trucks, construction equipment ,Fire apparatus and a school bus. All for FREE!
The proceeds from the event will be distributed to Berlin's local Veterans, providing them with some hope and help to make it through these difficult financial times.
God Bless Our Veterans, We owe them so much!!
BVFD would like to thank all that participated, show off their pride and joys and to the public that responded to this great event.
Special thanks goes out to:
