| I would like to send my sincere appreciation for all that you and the Berlin Fire Departments did in honoring Rob Sharkevich Sr. at the Memorial Service held at the Berlin Firehouse, and at the bench dedication.
What a touching tribute to Rob by adding him to the Fallen Firefighters Monument, the community bench, and the sincere words that were spoken during the ceremony touched many people that day.

On behalf of the Sharkevich family, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the events that took place today. The monument dedication to the bench honored in his name was all very moving and heart felt. As time goes on it doesn’t get easier but to know how many lives he truly touched is amazing.
