At 07:23 this morning Companies 3 and 1 were dispatched to a reported truck fire at the intersection of Route 5 South and North Colony Rd. Arriving personnel found a service vehicle with an engine compartment fire that extended into the cab and body of the truck. The roadway was closed for a short period while the fire was extinguished and the vehicle was removed. The roadway has since reopened. No injuries were reported, the town's FMO was on scene investigating.
