In the 2 years since the Hawthorne Fire the woods have healed

The faint, inconspicuous scars that remain on Lamentation Mountain are rapidly being erased by nature. While visible reminders of the fire continue to fade, the memories and emotions of those days continue burn strong. Today we reflect on those memories. We reflect on the dedication, the sacrifice, the tears shed in remembrance of our colleague and friend, Firefighter Robert Sharkevich.
