| Our first arriving fire officer found a smoke condition inside and the occupants in the front yard. The 3 occupants were accounted for and were evaluated on scene for smoke inhalation and subsequently transported to an area hospital.
Firefighters made entry and extinguished an active fire in the attic. The home sustained moderate smoke and water damage and it is expected the residents will be displaced.
There were no pets in the home and no injuries reported by frefighters. Mutual aid was provided by our Task Force 51 partners, the Berlin Fire Marshals Office is investigating the cause. |
