First arriving units found an active fire from a wood stove that was contained to the flu, and a light smoke condition was present in the home.
Crews utilized heavy chains to clear the deeply seated materials in the flu, and a hose line was deployed due to the high wind and excessive embers creating a exposure concern with an attic vent.
The Fire Marshals Office was on scene for the investigation, minor damage occured from the fire and the home was able to be immediately re-occupied.
