This evening Chief Simons and Firefighter Pipkin presented the veterans commission with (24) $50 visa gift cards for veterans in need this holiday season. The funds donated were from our car show in August and also the tree lighting ceremony that was held at veterans park a few weeks ago.

The veterans commission also presented Chief Simons with a plaque of recognition for his actions during the dedication of the American Wars Walkway.
