At 1657 hours companies were dispatched to 23 Mattabasset st in the Kensington section of town for a reported shed fire. Further information from numerous callers stated a fully involved building. Car 21 arrived on scene to find a 15x30 detached garage with a large volume of fire showing. Under the command of Car 21 Chief Lewandowski companies operated for approximately 90 minutes extinguishing and overhauling the fire. The scene has been turned over to the fire marshals office, all fire units are back in service.
